+ What to do with my meals when I receive them?

  • Make room in the fridge to store the meals.
  • Make sure your fridge temperature is 39-40F.
  • Remove the meals from the bag and place them in the fridge immediately.
  • Keep the instructions for reheating tips.

Reheating Instructions:

Meals:

  • Remove any sauce/dip cups from the container.
  • Rest the lid of the container on top of the meal and microwave for about 90 seconds- 2 minutes, or until hot.
  • (Resting the lid on top helps to keep moisture in the container).

Soups:

  • Remove the serving amount and place on a microwave safe dish. Heat for 1 minute or until hot.
  • You can also reheat on the stove on medium heat.
  • Salpicón, ceviche and salads are meant to eat cold

Recommendations:

  • Remove the lettuce or jicama shells before reheating the meals.
  • Your refrigerator temperature should be 39F or below.
  • Up to 7 days refrigerated.
  • Keep your meals refrigerated, until ready to eat.
  • All the black containers are: BPA FREE, Microwave safe, Dishwasher safe & Freezer safe.

+ How long do these meals last in the refrigerator?

6-7 Days. Eat the meals that contain salads, jicama shells, or fish, first.

+ Can I freeze my meal?

Freezing is not recommended, but red meat is the one product that freezes the best.

Yes, Chef Mayela Ramos, I attended a 4 year culinary college and obtained my degree in Culinary Arts and Chef Certification in 2003.
